Description
–          Heavy Duty ½ thick base with slotted bolt hole provisions allow mounting to tail shaft flanges for Reverse piston clutch spring removal, in some applications.  Base plate includes machined aluminum centering cone that centers tool and prevents bushing damage.
–          Adjustable width fabricated 4” long legs can reach inside transmission cases and drums while allowing room to remove snap ring with standard 6” or longer snap ring pliers.  Legs have a slim line design with large center openings for increased accessibility to return spring snap rings, thumb screws allow for easy adjustment of leg spacing. Legs can be adjusted for use with clutch spring retaining rings that are between 1” and 4” in diameter.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 5/8 diameter press lead screw with cast aluminum hand knob and exclusive roller bearing pivot compresses the stiffest transmission clutch springs with ease.
